Default the comments when mouse move to listbox item

:)hi,everybody,this is the first time that I am come here for search some help.Can you do me a favor?
question: when the mouse move over to the listbox item ,there will happen the comments , this function that is looks like the "alt" of href?

You can use the title attribute. It's like alt but then for other HTML elements:

<select id="lstTest" title="I am comments on mouse over">

</select>

Unfortunately, for IE at least, title does not apply to option elements, nor does the mouseover event.

I've had a little play, I was trying to do something with onmouseover and elementFromPoint but it always gives SELECT rather than OPTION. Other than write your own listbox using JavaScript I don't think it can be done.
