Default Testing Scripts

Hey all :)
I had a recruiter ask me, for this specific contract job, if I could do testing scripts. I said "yeah" in a round about way, cause I am sure I can after I figure out the situation.

Lets assume a Windows environment with SQL SERVER DB.
And I am also assuming that they DO NOT MEAN simply using something like HTML Validator software for bug-control etc.

I am guessing they mean testing hypothetical loads against the server?
Running through various processes or flows through the website to make sure nothing poops?

I am trying to find a book that specifically addresses "website testing scripts", or "web-application testing scripts" if anyone can kindly point me to one. Thanks for that.

Also if you can better define testing scripts for me so that I will do good in the interview. P.S. I have 7 years website development as seen on www.youreq.com

But the bad thing about www.youreq.com is that it is 89% slower than most sites!!!

NEED HELP. :)
