Is there anyway to get the functionnality of a file input working off a gif like button??? In essence I want to use an image for button... Can this be done, and how?

It's a long story with a few code examples that no longer work. At the end, Richard York suggests this link: http://www.quirksmode.org/dom/inputfile.html that presents a work around that still seems to work.
