Default parseStr???

Hi,

I'm pulling phone numbers from Excel... sometimes the phone number has - or (), but sometimes they have nothing... Now I need to be able to break down the number into it's parts... so say I have 9119229333, my script sees that as a number, and I don't know how to isolate the 911 part to knwo which area code it beleongs too... can anyone help???
