How to ask proper questions on the Wrox forum....
http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html ;)
Seriously, with a question like this, your chances on an answer are minimal.
FIrst, read the FAQ I linked to; then choose an appropriate forum, like ASP (for server side JavaScript) or JavaScript (for syntax related questions).
Then, describe what it is you want to do. Log files come in many flavors... What do you want to log? How? Where? What's the trigger for the logs?
Then describe what you have already done. What knowledge you have, what sites you have visited to get information about logging, what worked and what didn't etc etc.
You may not have to provide all of that information at once, but parts of it certainly hep in getting an answer that is useful for you. You have to help us help you....
