Default missing info on xml and javascript

i purchased the "beginning javascript" book and have found that there is a second edition now that i wasnt aware of, and i have read that there is a chapter on javascript and xml, and was woundering if anybody knows where i can obtain the missing info from to compliment what i already have, rather than having to buy the other book?
