Default How do I enable Javascript ?

I've been told I need to enable Javascript on my P.C. in order to open a file with an .iso extension. How do I do/check this ?

Sounds odd, an ISO file is an image, usually a CD or DVD, you don't need JavaScript for that, more like IsoBuster or Clone Drive from SlySoft. I'd be careful who's asking you to open it and make sure it's a trusted source.

But on top of that, it would be pretty unusual for you to *NOT* have JavaScript enabled on your machine. Virtually all machines and all browsers ship with JavaScript already enabled. If you didn't explicitly disable it, then it's working. And since you are asking this question, that means you don't know how to disable it, I would think.

It occurs to me that perhaps you were being asked to enable JAVA on your machine, not JavaScript. Java is *NOT* always enabled on a machine. In fact, many Windows machines ship without any version of Java installed. And it would make much more sense that some ISO "reader" program would need Java installed than it would need JavaScript.

Note that the two languages have mostly their names in common; very little else is all that similar between them.
