Default Stop duplicate Impressions/clicks

Hi,

I have written a banner exchange script, but unable to create javascript to stop publishers from accumulating fake Impressions & clicks. Please advise the logic to implement in JS to stop publishers from cheating. Any ideas as to map unique id to a particular computer and then refer that id with the database value would be appreciated.

Basic question is how to generate unique Id for a computer which should be unique only for that particular computer, so that id can be referred to validate legitimate impressions/clicks from publishers.

Any help regarding this issue would be much appreciated.
