Dear All,

I have dowloaded an example web application jar file. But I am having trouble running it with netBeans.......

I basically decompressed the jar file, and the opened the various folders including web-inf, but when I execute the stuff, it gives me a deployment error, saying that it was unable to locate something in tomcat 5 or something like that. Does the fact that, the web application was originally developed in tomcat 3, and now I am trying to run it with tomcat 5, have anything to do with this.

Then I tried another way. Simply placing the jar file as it is within the webapps folder of the installation directory, but now I do not know where to go from here.....

I am terribly stuck can some one help me...please!!!!
