Default Accessing a variable from different context

Hai,

 I want to access a variable that is defined outside of My application context.I am using two War files App1 and App2 that r running under Tomcat Server

Please help me

A bad fix would be to store the value in a cookie, or in a file on your server, but this would be inefficient.

Would be interested to know how you solve this, if you find a clever way to do it be sure to post back!
