Java Compiler -- Help

When I run my java compiler the command window won't stay open long enough to see error messages. XP operating system. Any suggestions out there.

Tell me how do u run the compiler. If you open the command prompt and compile using javac the command prompt doesn't close until u close it.

I'm trying to run in a batch file. (ShowColors2.bat) with command
javac ShowColors2.java

The Dos window will just flash. Yes, your right about command window already being open, no problem.

HI

Do one thing open the command prompt and go to the path where u'r bath file is stored. For example u'r file is stored in C drive temp folder so in the command prompt go to temp folder and then type

ShowColors2.bat

This will display the error messages.
