In my project, I added a DBML. To it, I added my stored procs, my tables. So, I have my website and I have a project that has this DBML. No base class, nothing complicated. It works.


But then, I came across these links, that talk about disconnected mode. Has a base class, inherits from it, etc.

Why do I need to use a base class like those 2 links? to have a n-tier model? I guess i dont understand what connected and disconnected modes mean?

I keep getting this Row not found or changed error.
I've already tried changing the dbml property Udate Check to "never", without results.
I would greatly appreciate any help I can get on this matter.
