Right Now I am searching for Yamaha CDR-100 CD Writer Driver Source Under Redhat Linux 7.x. If any find the Source Please send me the website.

Added to it Can any body tell me the flow or How a CD Writer works in Linux.Starting from the Device to the Kernel & Application.

Good grief, a Yamaha 100? That old stalwart's bound to be supported! I'm surprised it's not even supported by the basic install system, but Redhat often surprises me, whenever I have to dandle with it... Don't they have list of supported drives?

As for the ins-and-outs of what happens, Winfried Trümper's "How To" is probably your starting point (albeit, it's a bit out of date, since he claims there that USB drives aren't supported - which hasn't been true for some time, now:

the real need of finding this driver source is to port this driver for an RTOS.So If I come to know about the working of the basic cd writer in linux,It 'll be a starter for me
