I'm unable to connect to net in linux.
Can u please suggest me?

I can't reaslly offer any practical advice without knowing:

1. How are you trying to connect - from a network, via modem, adsl, isdn?
   - if you're using a modem, is it supported under linux - post the model number or google for the model+linux support.
   - if you're using a network card, is it functioning correctly - you can usually figure this out because it will have little green lights flashing.
2. Do you have an ISP account, and know the details for when you want to log on.
3. Are you using any software to connect (kppp, wvdial, etc.)
4. Are there any specific errors happening, or you just don't know where to start?

It's probably worth checking out http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Modem-HOWTO.html if you're using a modem...
