Default Getting Root Password

hello everybody...

i have fc3 in my system but unfortunately i have forgot its root password...
is there any method by which i can grt my root password??

Yes, there is.
Boot off of CD.
Mount /etc from the hard disk.
Remove the password field in the password file for the root user.
Reboot. root should be able to login with out a password. From here it can be reset.
