Default Install with no auto CD read

I am trying to install the version of Red Hat that came with the book, but I am having trouble because the book leaves out 2 important things for those of us with a PC that will not boot from the CD:
1) How do I make boot discs that will direct the PC to load what is on the CD?
2) I have made a boot disc that will boot the PC with the setup picture on page 19, but hitting enter does not make the PC look at the CD and start loading. What do I type to get it to load?

Thanks for any help!

can you read cds normally. IIRC there are some msdos tools on redhat which let you build a boot floppy. anyone with more recent redhat exp than mine (rh5)
