Default Linux with Active Directory

Hi, Everebody,

I have a Windows 2000 Server with Active Directory, I'm a begginer with Linux Red Hat 8, How Do I join the domain through a Linux workstation ?

You can use the smbclient utility to browse the domain, and smbmount to mount shares, but I think you'll need to install samba 3 before you can use active directory stuff.

With Samba 2.x you can join a domain too.

Code:
smbpasswd -j (name of my domain) -r (name of my PDC)
www.samba.org aswers all of your questions with greats how-to's
