Default Linux and TMobile GPRS

I am currently ust T-Mobile mobile phone to connect iNet. (NJ USA)
The configuration include
Win Millenium on IBM Thinkpad -> BlueTooth Adaptor -> Sony Erricson T610 -> TMobile GPRS internet connection.
Is it possible to replace WinMillenium to some version of Linux (SuSE is the best)
