- I've been programming since 1979 when I got my KIM-1 single board computer which I had to program via hand assembly (build the binary instruction, convert it to hex, load & deposit the hex code) with a Realistic casset recorder as my primary storage device (of course, I had to write the device driver!) Breadboarded my second computer around a Z-80 a couple of years later. Since then I've written code at one time or another in over twenty assembly and high-level computer languages on everything from Apple IIs, PDP-8 & 11's (RT11,RSX,RSTS/E), VAX/VMS, System360, and of course, PC's and Macs. For the better part of the last twenty years however, programming has been an advocation, with my day job being in the field of mechanical Quality Control for various manufacturers and machine shops in Middlesex county Massachusetts.

- Spy, Mystery, Horror and SciFi Novels, Motor Sports (NHRA, NASCAR, F1 - not necessarily in that order), skiing and golf, the Boston Red Sox & Bruins
