Default MS access in My SQL

Hi, Guy's:)

 I am new to this area . i use to get with the MS Office forum but i want an detail form the Great MY SQL Members.. Iam have an Ms access with me and I want to keep the back end in an Linux server and iam blank i not having any idea about this (i.e.) weahter the Ms Access will work in Linux Server & iam Going to Configure an Personal Computer into Linux Server , weather i have to config into mail server or Web server or another server type is there for installing the Database ,*Iam going to use Microsoft OS in Client Machine & Linux in server machine. If any other specification is there pls give me the complete idea to make my idea possible .

 I am new to this iam configuring my Pc with my Friend he Configured mail server in Linux machine but he is not having any idea in this area .. Help needed pls:(
