ps - what is the server going to be set to in the connection? if mysql is setup on my localhost and i use iis for a local web server what would it look like?

Go buy navicat!!!! navicat.com. its the greatest GUI software for MYsQL than whitebread! I use it all the time. It gives you a full featured program in an easy to use GUI interface. You can even create queries from there and test.
