First off, this has nothing to do with MySQL.
Second, 'having a problem installing apache on pc' is so vauge that no one is going to be able to help you. What specific problems are you having?

You can go here and download the MSI: http://www.bizdirusa.com/mirrors/apa...inaries/win32/
Unfortunately the version you are trying to install 2.2.9 is not on there. I assume that you can use the 2.2.11 version with the book but don't quote me on that.
Directions for installing Apache on Windows can be found here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/windows.html
hth.

Sorry, 4. there is: You should be able to double-click the MSI file to initiale the installation wizard for Apache... etc, but you may experience some issues depeding on what security policies Windows has in effect. We recommend running the instaler with administrative privileges from within a console window. And continued, In Windows Vista, navigate through Start->All Programs-> Accessories, right-click and Command Prompt, and select the Run as Administrator options. At that continue 5. there is: cd C:\Users\... etc and CRASH INSTALER
Best regards
