Ant has property task which has file attribute to read file from properties files. Is there a similar feature in NANT. I tried the include buildfile but it is very cumbersome. Is there a custom NANT task that can automate reading properties from a separate text file.

I just looked at the Ant docs to see what you were referring to and I'm pretty sure there isn't such a task in Nant.

The task doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to port to Nant as a custom task. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that someone else has already done this.

As for me, an include buildfile with the property tasks seems to work fine.
