Default Hijack or dishonest coding in packaged CSS

Is it possible for a programmer to have placed some dishonest code in a prepackaged membership program. I have a program I bought and something is fishy. It is CSS coded PHP. I keep losing members. Or when some one new signs up and fills out the profile page then tries to sign in there are no membership for them under their nickname and password. I know this to be true because It happened to me. I have gone in and looked over most of the PHP pages and the style sheets but I cant’ find a reason.

Is it possible, sure. Is it common, not that I am aware. I am unfamiliar with CSS coded PHP (or do you mean to say PHP is generating the CSS) but I would contact the vendor or submit a bug.

hth.

Yes of course, PHP is generating the CSS, Just said it backwards and a bit upside down... Anyway I have contacted the vendor and have been told it is in the MySQL, MySQL server said its in the script... so no and so on.. I personally feel it is the cheap hosting package I have...

Its hard to say. If the vendor of your software has a forum go there and see if anyone else has had the problem and if they were able to fix it.

Yes they do have forums on just about every topic. I could post there I have in the past with no answers to my questions. I did however get a response that told my they where busy trying to get the next upgrade out and could answer questions in a few months, something to that effect any way. Anyway thank you for the support.
