Hi All,

Good day. I have a data bound dropdown list and text box in my aspx page. I wish to make the text of the dropdown list to appear in the text box immediately once I select a text from the dropdown list.

How can I do this? Please assist.

Set the dropdownlist autopostback property to true and
in the dropdownlist SelectedIndexChanged event set the TextBox's Text value as
DropDownList's SelectedValue.

Good day. Would you please guide me how to insert record into a table? I have an MS Access table (let me call it tblGroup). I have a form with one text box (txtTextBox) and a submit button in .aspx page.

Please guide me how to establish database connection to the table and insert the contents in text box into the table when I click the submit button. Preferably, you give me some samples.

suppose your database is c:/db/group.mdb and this folder is shared so you can update the database.
your Page_Load event shoud be like this

let's try. on the top of the page you should the directive <%@ Import NameSpace="System.Data"%> and <%@ Import NameSpace="System.Data.Data"%>
