Hi all,
I am a sw engineer, and I purely work on VB and ASP. I want to update myselft with the latest technologies so I want to learn .net. So can you please some one help on how and where to start with.

http://www.asp.net/Tutorials/quickstart.aspx -- would be a good starting point.

If you prefer reading from a book .. i suggest you go for .NET books from Dummies series (OR) Professional .NET .. wrox publication
