Default Unable to reference to dlls dotNet1.1

Hi all,

We have a problem to using VS2005 to reference to the dlls which were build by VS2003. The error message is :
Unable to load Assembly...

Does anyone have the same problem? if yes then what is the solution?

Regards

John

Unless there's something specific to VS2003, that has either been upgraded to something else or descarded otherwise in VS2005, that your VS2003 dll is making use of, this problem shouldnt occur.

What work was your VS2003 dll performing. Is there anything specific to VS2003 you can think of that your dll was making use of.

Thanks for you email.

It is not the dlls we wrote. It's was a third party product. I believe, Microsoft musts maintain the backward comparability at least for framework 1.1 otherwise there are no body going to use their technology.
