Drop a FolderBrowserDialog component on your Form and do something like:

Code:
// get folder path to write class files to.
this.codeFolderBrowserDialog.Description = "Select the folder that you want to write class files to.";
System.Windows.Forms.DialogResult result = this.codeFolderBrowserDialog.ShowDialog();
if (result == DialogResult.OK)
{
   Utilities.FolderPath = codeFolderBrowserDialog.SelectedPath;
}
HTH,

Bob

if you are using c# for window app
 then from this u get complete path of file ,by using this

            OpenFileDialog fdlg = new OpenFileDialog();
            fdlg.Title = "Open File for stock";
            fdlg.InitialDirectory = @"c:\";
            fdlg.Filter = "All files (*.*)|*.*|All files (*.*)|*.*";
            fdlg.FilterIndex = 2;
            fdlg.RestoreDirectory = true;
            if (fdlg.ShowDialog() == DialogResult.OK)
            {

                textBox1.Text = fdlg.FileName ;
            }
