for installtion f assembly

Type the following at the command prompt.

gacutil -i AssemblyName


uninstall

gacutil /u AssemblyName (Fully Qualified Name of Assembly)

Default Installing assemblies into the GAC under .NET

You should share assemblies by installing them into the global assembly cache only when you need to. As a general guideline, keep assembly dependencies private, and locate assemblies in the application directory unless sharing an assembly is explicitly required.Guys check this helpful article to know more.
