Default urgently need help

hello all
my problem is , i was initially working with vb 6.0 dll
, but they dont work in vb.net , so i converted them , to
vb.net dlls , now what i want to develop n application , as
i will create an exe file , which will be residing om clients , m/c
and whenever client will log on to internet , from a web server ,
which got a static id , will get the services , via dll residing on , web server , from recent studies , i got to know , soap , technology , could be the answer , can any one tell me , how and from where to start , i really need urgent help.
please help me

SOAP can be used to access webservices which reside on remote machienes. You can add web references to your project refering the appropriate web service. Once you've added the web reference, you can use them as if it were a component of your own project
