Default Server was unable to process request. ---> The num

Hi
I'm developing a console that connect to a webservice to get data. My webservice communicate with SQL server to store and retrive data.When i try to call a method of the webservice it thow an exception as below

Failure reason:
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> The number of elements in the select list exceeds the maximum allowed number of 4096 elements.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtoc ol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtoc ol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)
at Firmglobal.Confirmit.SurveyEngine.Offline.WebServi ces.SurveyEngineSynchronization.SurveyEngineSynchr onizationWse.GetRespondentsForInterviewer(String projectId, DatabaseType dbType, Int32 interviewerId, Byte[]& hashValue)

I've never seen this kind of exception before. So if you have any experience, please help me!!!

Based on your error you have more then 4096 elements in your SELECT statement.
