Default Access VPN

Hello,
We´re developing a VB.NET app under a pocket, and we're traying to acces a VPN to transfer information, but we can only access the VPN step by step outside the app, so we like to access the VPN through .net, any body has done this before?, how can we access the VPN using a VB.NET app?.

Are you trying to access a resource over a VPN? Do you need the application to establish a VPN connection that isn't already open?

Typically, a VPN connection is establish by the operating system. Perhaps there is something with .Net and Windows that allows you to do a VPN "dial-up" internally but I don't know of any, nor do I imagine that it can be done.

Thank's Peter, may be I was not specify in off, but we're traying to use VB.NET for opening a VPN and after the tunnel is open then transmit and recive data using the app, by this time we manualy open the VPN and then transmit/recive data with the app, because it's take time and my users are'nt very familiar with pockets, we´re traying to do it simple and easy for end user. So we're looking the way do a VPN "dial-up" internally as you respond.
Thanks
Carlos

Well, like I said, I don't think there's a way to do a VPN connection internally in the software. I think it's up to the OS but I could be completely wrong. Perhaps there is a way to have the application talk with the OS and tell it to use a specific connection. If you have ever used Outlook you have probably seen how you can tell it to use a particular connection to check mail. The connection would still have to be set up on the OS but then at least it's used automatically. Just an idea.
