Default database problem

hi

I am trying to give a connection string to get the records from the oracle9i database. I have put my database in useraccount scott. When i try to retrieve record through this code it is troubling me. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

Public con As adodb.connection
Public Sub connection()
Set con = New adodb.connection
con.Open = "Provider=MSDAORA.1;User ID=scott; Persist Security Info=False"
End Sub

 OLE DB, OleDbConnection (.NET)


 Standard security:

"Provider=msdaora;Data Source=MyOracleDB;User Id=UserName;Password=asdasd;"
This one's from Microsoft, the following are from Oracle
 Standard Security:

"Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;Data Source=MyOracleDB;User Id=Username;Password=asdasd;"



 Trusted Connection:

"Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;Data Source=MyOracleDB;OSAuthent=1;"
