Default Can't connect to an oracle obdc database

I am using access to import data from an oracle database, to perform some queries.
I was able to do that a couple of days ago, but now I haven't been able to bring the data back to a table in access.
I am not getting any useful error message; it only says there is no "error message for this error". So that kind of keeps me from going anywhere.
I have also noticed that there are some tables (but not many), which I can bring back the data. But not that particular one, which I actually need. I have checked the table owners, but they are the same between the tables.
I am using Windows XP, Access 2002, and Oracle Client 9i.
The Oracle database version is: 8.1.7.4

Any ideas?

Thanks.
