Default Oracle Login Conf

I have installed Oracle 8i in a Machine. Now I want to set up auser name & password for this.
Please help me in configuring a user name & password for a schma. The installation didn't ask me set up any password for the Admin or system user. I'm not sure how to move ahead.

Hi Prem,

After you have installed the Oracle you have to create the global database. So use the option(Database configuration assistant) and create the global database first. When you are creating the global database it'll ask a user name and a password for the global database.

After creating the global databse you can create users by using security manager. after that you can create datafiles using storage manager and so on..but first create the global database.
