SQL/PLSQL QUERY TO INSERT MULTIPLE ROW VALUES?

HI FRIENDS AM TRYING TO FIND THE SOLUTION FOR INSERTING MULTIPLE ROW VALUES AT A SINGLE QUERY,THE QUERY MAY BE IN PLSQL BUT IT SHOULD PROMPT THE USER TO ENTER THE VALUES UP TO N NO OF ROWS,I HAVE TRIED PLSQL LOOP WITH '&' TO PROMPT USER BUT IT WILL ACCEPT ONLY ONE ROW VALUES,AND AM UNABLE TO EXECUTE AUTO INCREMENT IN TABLE, SO ALL TECHIES KINDLY HELP ME IF THERE IS A SOLUTION...
