hey im working on a project which uses AJAX(asynchronous Java and XML) ....please tell me which is the best server side scripting language to use;as in which is a better option ASP or ASP.NET...
i heard ASP is kinda outdated...
n also tell me which is the scripting language that .NET uses;i heard its visual basic and not vb script.

if you are using AJAX then work with ASP.NET and if yu r comfortable yu sould use c# server side scripting.
