having trouble getting PHP to talk to MySql
I am going to start again with MySql
Running windows XP profesional
which version of MySql do I down load and where do I find it
Is there an installation program
Page 773 say www.mysql.com but where from there ?
Getting desperate, have been trying for weeks, please help as I am about to give up

Few things you need to know, If you are using
MySQL 5.0 community server:
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html#downloads
which is the latest stable version
you need to download PHP 5 as well.
