some doubts

Sirs,

   I have a series of doubts:
First:
  some thumbnails that i generate using PHP code and GD library
have a blue haze over them.why is this so? and how can I avoid it?

Second:
  I use HTMLarea v 3.0. for accepting user input in a form.
Does it support copy+paste from Microsoft Word?
Or do I have to make changes to the Fieldtype in MySQL database to make it work?

Third:
How do I create a code to show if my yahoo login is active.
I mean,If I am using yahoo messenger and a visitor is using one too,
then I need to show him that my yahoo login is activated.
I've seen it on many websites.

Yes, I believe it does work. Why don't you try it? :-)

Third:

It seems you can include a little image from Yahoo! that tells you with this format:
http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=USERS_NAME_HERE&m=g
..but I haven't tried it.
