I just want to create a button or link in the IE Browser to run a software, for example, xls2mysql.exe, installed in my server computer.

Anyone can let me know is it possible and how?

dunno if its the same but a website I checked yesterday has button which start counterstrike on my computer and send the correct value so you get connected straight from there site..
