Default Breaking out of frames

Using an HTML link to move to another page while at the same time breaking out of frames can be done easily, using the target=_top option. How can I obtain the same result using only PHP, since I need to automatically change pages after a posting page that is not visible to the user at all. The generic "HEADER" command doesn't seem to have a way to do this.
