Default session time out info

Is there a way of finding out the session time out for an application ? For short period one may test by just observing, but what if one has to test for a long period, say 120 minutes ? Do we have a session time out function available ? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You want to look at the ini settings for sessions.

  echo ini_get('session.gc_maxlifetime');
That outputs the default length of a session in seconds.

You can see settings for everything if you run this code.
