Default printer functions on php5

Does anyone know of a way to get printer functions working on PHP5? I tried simply copying the php_printer.dll file from an older version of PHP to the \ext directory of c:\php and enabling it in php.ini, but it doesn't work.

All the PHP site offers is a couple dead links and links to their downloads page, along with some very simple instructions.

Printer functions were added in 4.0.4, but I haven't read straight-out that they were disabled in any later version.

Or if there's an alternative that's fine too :-)

Thanks,

Snib

Can't say I've ever used them, you could try asking someone at PHP:
