can anyone help me to sort it out that how can i make a link like http://profiles.yahoo.com/UserName ... so only the username is used to view profile .thanx

That is I suppose, is the Yahoo e-mail ID of the user. Since it is unique key, Yahoo! used it easily to let users view their profile. You may use '[email protected]' for users to view their profile; or if you're providing e-mail facility, you can give unique names and e-mails IDs to each user of your Web site.
