ASP.NET controls performance issues

Hello,
I have some strange problem on my ASP.NET WEB form. This form has about 30 different controls. Some of them I created from the toolbox and some of them I copied from existing forms. At the LOAD time all controls show up with some random delays. My question is what can cause this strange behavior (Z-INDEX attribute probably not a reason)?
