I use to deploy my appliacation by using Package and deployment wizard that comes with visual studio 6.0. Now i developed and packaged my application at my personal machine having windows XP professional at this. At my machine everthing was fine(remember visual studio 6.0 is installed at my computer). but when i deployed setup folder to my customer. he told me that he tried to install my application at a machine having windows Millenium. Setup was completed successfully at his computer but whenever he tries to open my application at his computer. there comes an error message saying "Windows is not updated" .            according to my problem.......... i just want to add that when i installed my setup file at a computer containing windows XP... it is working fine.........but if some one has any idea that why it is not working at windows millenium....kindly reply

well, this is a very common problem. you created an installation using the Package and Deployment wizard using an os (XP), that can be (and probably is) incompatible with other os (like Me)
P&D has so many problems that very few programmers use it. Microsoft should put a huge disclaimer when people use it. If you sell a commercial product that can run on multiple windows, I suggest you to buy a solid installer application
