I have developed a shared addin in C# .net 2003 using .net framework 1.1

When I installed this addin somehow my mouse stops working only in the word document area. For a word document I can click on File menu or any other commandbar control but I am not able to move my cursor in the document area using mouse. Whereas I can move the cursor using keyboard.



If anybody is aware of this problem then please help me.

Assuming you can get your mouse working properly after uninstalling the add-in, the problem might be in the add-in itself. What does your add-in do?

Also - you've posted to the VB6 Pro forum, so you might not get as much help as if you had posted to the .NET forum.

The add-in creates a toolbar with 2 dropdowns. the purpose of the addin is to tag the document with the values selected in the dropdown. i am also using hooks to control some keyboard events. I tried removing hooks but still i am facing the same problem. do you came across such issue.
