There are entire books on AJAX...

Essentially, the script on your page will send an asynchronous request to a website. There is nothing special in VB regarding this—it takes place at the page.

The server recieves and processes the request. This is a VB issue, but you handle it as you would handle any other Inet request.

Can you zero in on what you need to know?
