Default mdb to XML in vb

Want to fetch some records from mdb file and store it as xml.
That xml file need to be zipped. All through vb coding.

in wicht vb.. what kind of database... what type of access...

Want to fetch records from .mdb file and store it as xml.
That xml file need to be zipped.

I got records in MS Access(.mdb). User Will be choosing the records.
Those records need to be exported to xml format. After exporting i need to zip that xml file.
