Unhappy Replacement of NTSVC.OCX in Windows 2008 Server

We run a VB 6 EXE application as windows service (win 2000 server). Recently our client has upgraded the server to windows server 2008. It seems NTService is supported till win 2003.

Is there any replacement available in win 2008? How can we achive the same by minimally changing the application.

Thanks in advance for your help.
